Just briefly though, more childcare provided to parents and cutting family tax benefits to higher income earners with it beginning to decrease at 94 000, with the taper rate increased to 30 cents in the dollar. Given Newstart (unemployment benefits) and student payments cut out completely after weeks on minimum wage, I think this is still a reasonably generous move, though it will probably annoy quite a few people that were budgeting for it staying.
