Pumpkin soup

For dinner last night I made pumpkin soup from:
2 finely diced onions
Half a chicken stock cube
Half a butter but pumpkin
Salt and pepper
1 rasher bacon finely diced
Quarter cup of coconut milk
Teaspoon olive oil

Brown onion and bacon, add vegetables, add water to desired texture, add everything else and boil until cooked.  Made for an easy dinner.  Serve with bread and butter/ marge.  Left overseas for lunch.  You could make dumplings to cook in the soup too!
